Hastings and District Interfaith Forum Aims and Objectives:

The promotion of religious harmony for the benefit of the public by:

  1. Educating the public in different religious beliefs including an awareness of their distinctive features and their common ground to promote good relations between persons of different faiths;
  2. Promoting knowledge and mutual understanding of the beliefs and practices of the different faiths and respect for those who seek to live by them;
  3. Working together for the solution of problems experienced by local faith communities in the practice of their religions.
